~ A pretty floral from the La Conner collection by Jera Brandvig of the blog Quilting in the Rain, her second collection for Lecien. Inspired by fond memories of annual trips to the pretty town of La Conner, Washington, known for its breathtakingly endless fields of flowers. Jera recalls visiting the charming town that is also home to a historic quilt museum and the local 'pick your own' strawberry farms in the valley. The collection is made up of an array of pretty florals, in shades of cranberry (reds), peony (pinks), sage (light green), evergreen (darker green), blueberry (dark blue), wicker (grey/beige) and rain (aqua), with some fabric having touches of metallic silver and gold, which make them shimmer.....so pretty!
