Red, White and Blue is such a timeless colour scheme, sometimes it inspires a nautical theme or perhaps a gentle nod towards a patriotic scheme...but as the shades become soft and gentle, it evokes the feeling of a country cottage with pretty gingham curtains and chairs and blanket boxes upholstered in gorgeous florals with quilts and eiderdowns scattered throughout, ready to provide that welcoming 'hug'.
Inspired by the fabrics Sarah is using in her faded red, white and blue log cabin quilt. This listing is for a pretty bundle of fifty different fat eighths. Sarah has carefully chosen a mix of florals and blender prints from across the shop from a range of manufacturers including Lecien, Windham Fabrics and Moda Fabrics.
You could of course use the fabrics for a quilt design of your choice, but if you would like to make a log cabin quilt, similar to what Sarah is making, you can find block instructions on the blog HERE.
Please note....Sarah is using Faded Red by French General for the centres on her blocks which is not included in this bundle, but available HERE.
