Queens Walk is an English Paper Piecing pattern designed by Sarah. The pretty design is inspired by the tiled floor in a Victorian house Sarah once lived in. She came up with the design one sleepless night, scribbled it on a notepad by the side of her bed and started working on it the next morning!

There are now hundreds of Queens Walk quilts in progress (thank you!), you can see just some of the amazing blocks that have been sewn, by taking a peek at hashtag #queenswalkquilt

This is a complete set of papers to make a 30 Block Quilt, with no need to reuse any, in a 5 x 6 layout. The completed quilt will measure 50" x 60".

The papers are laser cut and are supplied with 1 block per sheet of 100% recycled paper. When you are ready to use a set, simply 'pop' them from the sheet, baste and sew.

I'm afraid we do not offer a digital version of Queens Walk, sadly this is primarily to combat the numerous fraudulent attempts to copy the Queens Walk design. Both the EPP paper templates and Acylic templates are exclusive to our website and are not available anywhere else.

A NOTE FROM SARAH ON FABRIC REQUIREMENTS FOR THE QUILT TOP

"I always enjoy making scrappy quilts, using favourite fabrics and little snippets from my stash that I could not bear to part with. Included in the paper pack is a colouring in sheet, you can then have a think about the colours that you want to use and where. You will also need to consider how you want to position the fabrics within each block, so if you want to use the same fabric for all the points on each star, the same on the corner triangles etc and finally, if you want to fussy cut, which does/can take more fabric. There are so many options and variables, which is why there are no specific fabric quantities included in the kit.

Depending on how your chosen layout, you may find that you need a mix of fabric sizes. If you are purchasing fabric, I would suggest Fat Eighths and Fat Quarters and even some metreage if you are repeating a fabric across all the blocks and don't forget to include those precious pieces from your stash!
