Here is everything* that you will need to make your very own Bloom and Grow Mini Quilt.

Sarah says....."This pretty mini quilt originally featured in our very first Secret Squirrel Stitch Society box, back in Autumn 2020. The ‘Bloom and Grow’ mini quilt was inspired, by a visit in the early Autumn, to the wonderful White Garden at Sissinghurst Castle in Kent, designed by writer and poet Vita Sackville-West and her husband Harold Nicolson. The memory of this beautiful garden, although it was 14 years ago, has always stuck with me. As you would expect there were white flowers a plenty, lots of silver-grey foliage and I remember a metal work Arbor with climbing roses rambling through. Even though the roses had almost finished for the year, I could only imagine how stunning it must be at the height of summer!

A little sampler of sorts, it includes Machine Piecing, Appliqué, Embroidery, English Paper Piecing (EPP) & Hand Quilting ……I hope that you enjoy sewing your mini quilt as much as I did! Happy Stitches, Sarah".

The kit contains:

Pre-printed cotton/linen mix fabric for the embroidery
Detailed instructions
Embroidery Threads, used for both the embroidery
All the fabrics for the front on the mini quilt
EPP papers
Backing fabric
Wadding/Batting
Binding fabric
Pretty trims

*Everything you will need except for the sewing threads (Sarah used Aurfil 50wt for the piecing and Aurifil 12wt for the hand quilting in #2311), plus of course your favourite sewing notions!

The finished mini quilt measures 12 1/2" x 14 1/2" .

*From time to time we may have to make small substitutions to the fabrics or pretty trims pictured, rest assured if this is the case, they will be just as lovely!
