Sarah says....."On the day that Mum (Penny) and Dad moved into their house, in the corner of the garden stood the most beautiful Crab Apple tree laden with bright red fruit. Throughout the next year it bought such joy to them both, to discover what was growing in their new garden, but in particular following the cycle of the Crab Apple. From fruit to bare branches covered in a scattering of snow and frost in the Winter. Then the prettiest pink blossom in Spring, followed swiftly by green leaves in the Summer which turned gloriously golden in the Autumn, then back, completing its journey to its bountiful harvest of fruit. As a family, we have had such lovely times spent under the tree so, inspired by these happy memories, I have started a new series of seasonal samplers....they just fell from my mind onto paper as if they were meant to be....... From time to time we may have to make very small substitutions to the pretty trims pictured, rest assured if this is the case, they will be just as lovely!
