This is the pre-order listing for our 2025 Advent box!

Sarah says... "For the main project in this years very special and exclusive Advent box, we are embarking on a journey to the North Pole and you will be stitching a sampler inspired by my take on a map of Santa's home town. Over the course of the four weeks, your festive happy stitches will include pretty hand embroidered motifs, plus a collection of appliqued buildings, on to which you will also add additional hand embroidered details. As you would expect, by the end of Advent everything will be included to enable you to sew your sampler into a beautiful hand quilted wall hanging, to be enjoyed for future years to come!

In addition, you'll also receive four mini kits and of course, you will also find a selection of 'little happy' extras, either designed or especially chosen by me, for you! I have loved creating the projects included in this very special box for you and each one has had my heart and soul put in to every stitch! "

What is inside the box and when do I open the parcels?

We're sticking with our tried and tested recipe. The idea is, that on each of the four Sunday's in Advent, starting on Sunday 30th November, there will be three festive parcels full of loveliness for you to open. These will be clearly labeled week 1, week 2 and so on.

Main Project Parcels - In week one, you will receive the North Pole map, which is pre-printed on to my favourite beautifully soft, white cotton/linen fabric and all the embroidery threads required. Whilst the embroidered design will be revealed in full, the written instructions for how to complete the map will be provided in stages each week, plus you will have the surprise of the buildings (full size applique templates will be provided). In week four, you will also receive your finishing pack which includes the wadding, backing and binding fabric to turn your embroideried sampler in to a beautiful hand quilted wall hanging. The sampler will provide many hours of festive happy stitches to keep you occupied and entertained!

Mini Kit Parcels - This year there are four stand alone festive themed mini kits. Two will be gorgeous wool/rayon felt kits and in the remaining two English Paper Piecing and hand embroidery will feature. Please note, to complete one of these projects you will need to add a small amount of stuffing of your choice (think cricket ball size).

'Little Happy' Extra Parcels - Finally, we will include a 'little happy' extra parcel each week... this could be one of Sarah's favourite sewing notions that will come in handy to help you complete the projects or a little something either designed by or chosen by Sarah just for you!.

All the projects will contain all the fabrics, felt and fripperies needed to complete it. This includes if required:

Our beautifully soft, cotton/linen fabric for the sampler and where needed will come pre-printed with the embroidery designs, so no need to transfer
All the embroidery threads required.
12wt thread for the hand quilting.
100% cotton fabric for the lining, backing and binding.
100% cotton wadding, so the sampler is nice and squishy.
Gorgeous wool/rayon felt for the decorations.
Pre-cut shapes for the EPP decorations.
All the fripperies such as jingly bells, twine etc
And of course detailed instructions and full size template sheets.

Dimensions of the Main Project:

The completed Sampler is quite large and will measure 14" x 18" approx .

What other supplies will I need?

Your usual patchwork and sewing related tools and notions.
Plus as detailed above, a small amount of stuffing, this could be toy stuffing, wool stuffing, even offcuts of felt or fabric cut into little pieces or cotton wool!

How much does the box cost?

UK Box Price ~ £245 which includes postage via 1st Class Mail
Channel Island Price ~ £205 which excludes UK VAT and includes postage via 1st Class Mail (The price will adjust automatically at checkout)
International Box Price ~ £233* see note below

The box price includes postage via Priority Mail but excludes UK VAT. Please note the listing price will adjust and reduce to this once you have entered your country of residence at checkout.

We will happily post worldwide and we will send your parcel by 'International Tracked' or occasionally 'International Signed' depending on which service is available for your location.

Buyers are responsible for any tax/duty that is due upon receipt of the package. Please remember that UK VAT is automatically deducted from your order at checkout.

We can not also accept responsibilty for International orders that are held up in customs.

Whilst we will carefully wrap your box and it's contents, Customs Officers can and may open packages to spot check the items. Unfortunately, should this occur, it is out of out control and regrettably, we cannot be held responsible for damage to parcels, in this case.

Very occasionally we are unable to post to an International destination due to Sanctions or regulations, the postal service not being available or because of previous problems that we have experienced. If this were to occur then we would advise you at the earliest opportunity and provide you with a full refund. This sadly does include the EU and Northern Ireland, as a result of the new GPSR regulations.

Can I pay in instalments?

As always, there is an option to pay in four equal instalments. BUT, if you would like to take advantage of this it is offered on the proviso that you:

First purchase this £1 Reservation Fee.
Then, on the SAME DAY set up your payment plan. Your first instalment will be taken straight away and then, the remaining payments will be taken on the same date each month for the following three months. CLICK HERE TO SET UP YOUR PAYMENT PLAN.

The payment plan option is only available until the end of May, so that your payments are received in full by the end of August.

When will I receive my box?

Our plan is to post the boxes mid October, earlier if we can*.... but in plenty of time for Christmas.....so just remember, no peeking is allowed and don't forget where you hide them!

*If you are away on holiday from say September onwards, please add a note at checkout or pop us an email so we can post your box upon your return.

FINALLY, BEFORE PURCHASING THIS LISTING PLEASE NOTE THE FOLLOWING:

We are a small family business and to ensure that we can prepare and post your box as promised, we order ALL the supplies required in advance, based upon your commitment when you purchase this pre-order. We therefore politely ask that you make absolutely certain that you wish to commit prior to purchasing this listing.

Should you need to cancel your box, please note that a £25 admin fee will be taken (if cancelled by 15th September 2025). Orders cancelled after the 15th September 2025 will only be eligible for a refund of monies paid minus a £25 admin fee, once we have resold your box.

We appreciate and understand that it is a big investment to pre-order an Advent Box. Therefore, if you would like to see the main project before committing to a box, then please email Sarah. In order to maintain the surprise element of the box, this is however, sent on the strict understanding that this must not be shared with anyone else either in person or digitally. And under no circumstances on any social media platform. The full design must not be revealed in its entirety and publically, until after the week 4 parcels have been opened on the 21st December 2025. This service (available Monday to Friday) will be withdrawn once all our Advent Box pre-orders have sold out. Thank you for your understanding.
