'Beach Hut' Mini Quilt Kit

Here is everything* you need to make a Beach Hut Mini Quilt just like the one that Sarah made.  The kit includes Hexiform shapes for the Beach Huts, which gives them a lovely padded appearance.  If you prefer, you can of course use your preferred method of applique.

 

Sarah says....."As a family, we’re very much holiday by the coast people.  As a child we would travel to North Devon, Croyde Bay in particular.  In recent years, the North Norfolk coast and the Yorkshire coast have become our favourites.  Regardless of the destination, a quintessential sight at an English seaside resort is the Beach Hut, painted in a rainbow of colours.  I used this as my inspiration for our mini quilt and chose a palette of soft ice cream shades.  Similar in style to our super popular ’Little House’ mini quilt, I kept the design of the Beach Huts the same throughout, but there is definitely scope to add a flag on top, some cheery bunting or perhaps the odd gull flying about…..I can not wait to see your quilts!
