HAPPY STITCHES JOURNALS - SHOP

Sarah had long wanted to make a fabric book of sorts, one that would combine all her favourite techniques including hand embroidery, English paper piecing and applique.  She also wanted it to be hand quilted and have the squishiness of a quilt! 

 

In the Summer of 2019,  she created the first book and as an afterthought, having enjoyed the process so much she added Volume 1 to the spine, as she knew she wanted to make many more!  There are now five different volumes, each one is unique and we hope that Volume 6 will join the library in 2027!

 

Since 2020, we have been running the Happy Stitches Journals as a monthly Subscription Club.  Each Volume is it own club and you can start with any Volume, although most people do choose to start with Volume 1 and then work through the volumes thereafter.  

 

The Reservations for the clubs open in November each year, at that time you will be able to reserve your place for the following year and will pay pre-order your January parcel.  The Clubs are very popular and places fill up very quickly, so, if you would like to join the Reserve list for 2027 and be first to hear when places are open, CLICK HERE!

 

Each Volume is a 12 Month subscription club running from January up to and including December.  Each month you will receive a parcel full of loveliness directly through your letterbox. This will include:  

 

• All the fabrics and if required, applique templates or English Paper Pieces for you to sew that months page, plus of course detailed instructions will also be included.  Plus each month you will receive the embroidery threads in the exact same colours used by Sarah.
•  In addition, in February, April, June, August, October and December you will also receive wadding and binding fabric, to enable you to finish a 'double page' spread.  
• A spool of Aurifil 12wt is also provided in February for the hand quilting. 
• Finally, in month 12 you will receive an additional parcel to enable you to make the beautiful hand quilted cover.
